This year the defending USA Bowl DI/3A Champion Monroe County Sting (12-1) take on Kings Comets (11-1) MCFL for the 2009 USA Bowl 3A/DI National Championship both team are league champions and ranked in the nations top ten, they will play Saturday January 16th at 2PM. Next up 3 time USA Bowl DII champion the DC Explosion (NAFL) take on the Louisiana Patriots league champions of the Texas/Louisiana Football League for the AFNT/USA Bowl DII Championship on Sunday January 17th at 6PM.

360 Sports' Terry Sullivan provided 30 amateur players for a television commercial starring Adrian Peterson. The commercial was shot at the Metrodome in Minneapolis for State Farm Insurance. For many of the extras, it was as close to a dream come true as possible. Willie Staple concluded, “It was great wearing a Vikings uniform and running down the tunnel. That’s more than many of these guys could have asked for. Adrian was a pleasure to work with. He is a well grounded individual and a regular guy. We wish him the best of luck this year.”
